Arkansas Department of Transportation Bridge Operations Division is looking to add to our Bridge Management team. Bridge Management Section is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the databases used within the bridge management program, assisting bridge inspection personnel in proper data collection, and developing priorities for optimum bridge management within the constraints of available funds, as well as overseeing the drone and LiDAR initiatives within bridge inspection. The section also maintains public and internal GIS maps and apps related to bridges.

This position is responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining comprehensive bridge condition data used within the Bridge Management Program. In addition, this position is responsible for identifying patterns or trends, and for assisting others in assessing the impact of those patterns or trends on the state bridge inventory.

Compile and analyze bridge condition and other data on public highway bridges.
Prepare reports, maps, statistical tabulations, charts and graphs.
Assist bridge inspection personnel in the proper collection of bridge condition data.
Assist in developing bridge preservation, rehabilitation, replacement, and maintenance repair scenarios using an asset management database.
Assist in evaluation of trends and patterns in bridge condition.
Assist with the quality control and quality assurance program for the bridge data.
